Formerly serving as the front line pumper at Station 21, Engine 29 now serves as a reserve engine for the fire district. As a reserve, this engine is fully equipped and fills in when one of the front line engines is taken out of service for repair. Engine 29 was built for the Fire District by Pierce Manufacturing in 1998 on four door International 4900 chassis. The apparatus is equipped with a 1,250 gallon per minute pump with top mounted controls, carries 1,000 gallons of water and is equipped with a gasoline powered generator.
