SHFD members performed the 2019 Fire Prevention Skit at six elementary schools within the district during Fire Prevention Week.  The members of the cast were Justin Zuperku, Jessica Shrewsbury, Sara Thielenhaus, Jimmie Hubbard, Kris Dodds, Chris Davenport, John Thacker, and Sparky. Supporting the skit were  Laramie McPherson, Brian Dodds,  Vince Kutkze, and Tyler Ingram, Brock Sheern.  Approximately 3,000 children saw the skit this year during the eleven performances. The theme was Not every hero wears a cape. Plan and Practice your Fire Escape!
