SHFD members performed the 2019 Fire Prevention Skit at six elementary schools within the district during Fire Prevention Week.  The members of the cast were

SHFD participated in multiple National Night Out events across the district yesterday afternoon/evening.

SHFD members participated in  Haz Mat awareness training during the Aug 2nd regular Drill.  FF Rich Watson was lead instructor.

SHFD drilled on water shuttle operations yesterday evening with help from our mutual aid allies from KANG 190th.

Tanker 21 and its twin, Tanker 23, are the 2 newest fire apparatus at the SHFD. These trucks allow us to supply our engines with water to better protect to homes further away form fire hydrants in our rural communities.
